Tuesday, August 11th there will be no work on Main Street. The contractors are bringing in more/different crews and assessing everything before work commences. Sidewalk installation and curbing should start by the end of the week.

The tree council did a walk yesterday with two village board members and the engineer and under their recommendation many more trees will be removed from Main Street but will be replaced. This is due to possible root damage from sidewalk removal and installation. The updated plans for tree removals will be available by end of week on the Village of Catskill Website.

All businesses remain open during the ongoing construction period. Please continue to support our local Main Street businesses while the street and sidewalks are under construction
